If you access or use our website or services, we’ll assume that you agree to be bound by every clause of the following Terms and Conditions, which are applicable to all contracts constituted between Dommar Services and you (“customers,” “you”) for the provision of waste management services and solutions.

1: Definitions

1.1. “Dommar Services” is the UK-based company serving the commercial sector and residences by offering waste management labour solutions and waste collection services, respectively.

1.2. “Customer” refers to any person or group working with us by requesting our waste collection services and management solutions.

1.3. “Services” refers to all services and solutions we provide, including waste management, waste collection, booking and delivery of skips and ROROs, and all associated services.

1.4. “Third-party” refers to service providers operating externally to provide Dommar Services with various services, including website management, data security, skip and RORO bookings, and more.

2: Compliance with UK Laws and Regulations

2.1. We provide our waste management and waste collection services by operating under relevant laws and regulations of the United Kingdom, and we are legally responsible for complying with the following laws, but not limited to:

  1. The Environmental Protection Act 1990
  2. The Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989
  3. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
  4. The Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) Regulations 2005
  5. The Waste Management (England and Wales) Regulations 2011
  6. The Hazardous Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011
  7. The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 2011
  8. The Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013
  9. Any other applicable laws and regulations regarding waste management and collection.
  10. Ordering of Services

3.1. Customers can contact us for our services and solutions through our customer support service via call, email, or our website.

3.2. Customers are responsible for providing us with a detailed description of the services or solutions they require. This description must include the following information:

  • Location
  • Duration
  • Waste specifications

A description of your required services or solutions must be accurate and detailed so our customer representative can provide the exact estimate.

3.3. We reserve the right to accept or decline any service requests at our sole discretion.

4: Pricing and Payments

4.1. We charge for all our services in GBP. Prices of our services are subject to VAT at the current applicable rate when you order.

4.2. We will communicate the pricing for our services to the Customer upon receipt of the thorough service specification.

4.3. You are responsible for making full payment before delivering any services unless there is a different agreement.

4.4. We reserve the right to change our service prices. Whenever we need to, we may revise our service pricing at any time. Any changes to the pricing will not be applied to services or solutions already paid for.

5: Service Provision and Liability

5.1. We will strive to deliver the required services on time with utmost professionalism using our well-maintained and well-equipped caged lorries or third-party skips and ROROs.

5.2. You are responsible for ensuring that waste collection areas or the placement of skips/ROROs are easily accessible and follow all the applicable laws and regulations.

5.3. In most cases, we may book a skip or RORO by getting permission from the local borough council or the City of London Corporation, depending on the location.

5.4. You do not have the right to blame or hold us liable for any harm, damage, loss, detriment, or injury caused by your failure to abide by 5.2 or any other actions out of our control.

5.5. You are responsible for covering us by holding our website and all our stakeholders, including our staff, officers, third-party service providers, and affiliates, harmless against any claims that may arise from your violation of any part of these Terms and Conditions or any pertinent laws or regulations we mentioned earlier.

6: Cancellation and Refunds

6.1. You have the right to revoke your service order by submitting a written notice to us by reaching our website while updating our customer support. You can cancel your service order at least 48 hours before the agreed-upon service date.

6.2. We have the authority or right to decide whether or not to accept your refund request by cancelling services. For a refund to be issued, we’ll first consider any expenses or costs we have spent or paid for the service.

6.3. We will not issue a refund for services that have already been delivered, whether fully or partially, unless exceptional circumstances are in front of us. The ultimate decision on issuing a refund in such situations lies with Dommar Services.

7: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1. The UK laws mentioned earlier govern these Terms and Conditions.

7.2. Any conflict, dispute, or disagreement resulting from or associated with these Terms and Conditions shall be under the control of the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts. However, we require you to come to us (our customer service department or management) first to resolve any dispute.

7.3. If a dispute between you and us can’t be resolved, you can approach mediation services provided by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) or the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) to reach a consensus-based solution.
